More Than Two Decades
of Helping People Heal

For over 20 years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside people who are struggling — not just with anxiety, but with the deeper questions of identity, purpose, and peace.

My journey into counseling wasn't accidental. I've always been drawn to the complexity of the human experience — to what drives us, what holds us back, and what makes genuine transformation possible. That curiosity led me to earn a doctoral degree in counseling and to build a clinical practice grounded in both scientific rigor and real human connection.

At Thrivepoint, PLLC, I work with individuals who are tired of being ruled by worry, fear, and the relentless noise of anxious thinking. I use evidence-based approaches — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions — because they work. But I also believe that effective counseling is more than technique. It requires trust, honesty, and a therapist who genuinely cares about your outcome.

My background also includes a strong foundation in Christian counseling. For clients who want to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process, I am equipped to walk that path alongside them with both clinical skill and spiritual sensitivity.

Outside the counseling room, I'm a person like you — navigating life's demands, investing in relationships, and committed to continued growth. That lived experience informs how I show up for my clients: not as a distant expert, but as a seasoned guide who takes your struggles seriously and believes wholeheartedly in your capacity to change.
